• State Re-Certification Renewals Units Option – Pennsylvania teachers can use our State Re-Certification option during the registration process to earn ACT 48 Professional Development credits. For each course completed, you will earn 45 ACT 48 Professional Development clock hours toward the 180 needed for the renewal of your Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate.

Teach & Kids Learn (TKL) is an approved ACT 48 Professional Development Provider for educators Grades K-12 by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. To check the approved provider status, we are listed on the Pennsylvania Department of Education page as Teach & Kids Learn.

We are pleased to provide engaging comprehensive online courses that are pre-approved for 45 Clock hours for educators within the state of Pennsylvania. Each course is directly aligned to the Pennsylvania Standards Aligned System (SAS). All courses in our catalog are pre-approved for Act 48 hours.

• Graduate Credits Option: Teach & Kids Learn (TKL) provides accredited university graduate credits courses. We provide official transcripts. and letter grades upon the successful completion of your selected course. When selecting your course, choose any of our Graduate Credit level courses from our registration page.

1 graduate/semester = 30 Act 48 Clock Hours.

We always recommend that you follow any pre-approval requirements in your district before you register for courses. However, many teachers have been successful using our courses to advance on their district’s salary scale—and have typically been able to use our university/college-level course offerings.
