Cathy Sokol is an educator focused on the creation and implementation of standards-based literacy lessons.  She works with teachers to continuously monitor student progress as a means of guiding and differentiating instruction, anchored in the standards.

Cathy is a literacy coach for Kindergarten through 8th grade, and works closely with teachers and students in all content areas.  Her passion lies in designing professional development to help teachers meet the needs of their individual classes.

She has a teaching degree from Fairmont State University, a master’s degree in counseling and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction.
