There is no quick fix for emotional disturbances that are on the rise in our society. It is possible, however, to engage in a step-by-step approach of grounding ourselves with the intention of kindness and being gentle with ourselves and others as a counter to emotional spin out or despondency. The focus of this course is on stress reduction techniques for classroom teachers and students. Through the use of our innovative and highly successful yoga, meditation, and mindfulness program for the classroom setting, educators gain tools that help students with academic achievement and attitudes.
For more than 15 years, this unique and comprehensive approach to yoga has been fine-tuned for success in public and private classrooms. All are welcome to learn simple language and methodology that makes practical sense to youth and adults in school and in life. We are dedicated to helping teachers and students develop health, learning, and harmony in the classroom.
NOTE: No prior yoga experience is required. Most educators take the SCHOOL Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training with zero to little experience in yoga and/or meditation.
